Filled and Overflowing - CLP 2k6
The long wait is almost over and CLP is almost in our midst. The days almost came like a gentle breeze but now it's zapping like a strong hurricane right up in front. So far, as they say, all the coins are tossed and all the tables are turned. We're having jitters like a first grader reciting his first ever poem on stage or a teenager venture into his first ever roller coaster ride. But the CLP is already here and there's no turning back. Just like last year (2005) we claimed for 50 participants. We have an abundant number, unfortunately not as many as we asserted came but the Lord has blessed us just as much.
This year, we are claiming 50 participants once more. Our Lord is full of surprises and He has probably a lot of things in store for us this year which will bring us all in awe and wonder. Don't you think that our theme "Filled and Overflowing" just seem apt for this year's CLP? Oh my, can you just imagine how many people would come in troves and we'd run out of space to accomodate them all?
Let us be filled with the Lord's blessing in this CLP. Are you ready to be overwhelmed?

Below is a prayer composed by one of our sisters. Let this be our common prayer for the CLP.
Heavenly Father, God Almighty
We praise you for in your great mercy and love
You called us to yourself and adopted us into your family.
We thank you for this privilege,
You freed us and brought us out of the darkness.
Father, there are still many who belong to you
But do not yet know how greatly you want them
To experience Your loving presence.
Lord, we come to you as your children,
And not just as your servants,
Please fan the fire of your Spirit within us
That we may call our brothers and sisters home to you.
May you use the coming CLP to draw more men and women to yourself.
This we ask in the mighty name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
